Dabbling…

Is better than nothing.

I did some editing on Red Hour but I need to do more focused work on it and still need to edit the last few chapters of Dreamweaver. My writing group has started critiquing Dreamkeeper (Dreamcatcher book 3) and it is really fun to see them work their way through this four-book series. I want to dream up a new story—play with a new world and characters. But also… it’s summer. My brain is on a break some days, we are embracing the nice weather and hiking/birding, and on rainy days I find myself curling up with a book. I’m hoping to get some writing work done soon but sometimes I feel I’m in a holding pattern. I’ve got books out with beta readers and need to wait for their feedback, but it’s also my headspace. I’ll see what the future holds!
