Shifting from writing…

To editing.

I finished Shadow Walker! I’m so proud that my first dual-POV novel is complete. This wolf and witch tale was a stretch of my writing habits and skills as I outlined more than usual to keep an eye on the balance of perspectives while creating this new world and magic system. After I finished writing the last two chapters, I took a couple days to read through the entire book one more time for continuity and a sense of (temporary) closure, making minor adjustments here and there but saving bigger edits for later after a break. I’ll be sending this manuscript to beta readers in the near future. This is my eighth completed manuscript since I started my writing journey and it’s exciting to see my own growth since the first words of Seeds of Power hit the page back in 2019.

I am shifting gears back to Red Hour and look forward to editing this standalone novel based on my beta reader feedback. Unless a new idea, character, or world jumps into my head soon, I’ll focus on editing for the next several weeks instead of writing new content.

I’m still editing book two of my Dreamcatcher series with the help of my writing group and we are currently working through the climax together. After they have finished critiquing Dreamweaver, I plan to immediately submit chapters of book three, Dreamkeeper, and look forward to their assistance with the second half of this four-book series.
