More Mystery book recs…

I snagged audiobooks to read more this year!

Just as in prior years, I grabbed a huge library haul in October for spooky season. I also received several NetGalley ARCs of mysteries and thrillers throughout the year. But I had a lot of mysteries on my TBR list that I just wasn’t picking up since I was still mainly focused on SFF books.

Several years ago, I tried audiobooks for nonfiction and memoir because I struggle to read more than a chapter a day of those genres. Listening to audiobooks while walking the dog, driving, cooking, or doing housework allowed me to plow through a ton of books that had been sitting on my “to be read” list for a long time (without cutting into my SFF book time). I trained myself to listen at higher speeds and added some historical fiction and romance books into the mix. It felt good to listen to a variety of genres each month.

So…. this past January, I decided to use audiobooks to attack more of my mystery TBR and it was a roaring success!
