It’s time for spooky season!
Check out my mystery TBR for October.
As a fantasy writer, I mainly read SFF novels and don’t prioritize mysteries, which I also love, often enough. For the past couple years, I have been grabbing a big library haul of detective/crime novels, cozy mysteries, and thrillers in honor of spooky season. It has been fun to focus on this genre and dive into books that have lingered on my to-be-read list.
I have a few digital ARCs to read this month and some physical books from the library.
- How to Kill Men and Get Away With It – Katy Brent
- Down a Dark Road – Linda Castillo
- The Raging Storm – Ann Cleeves
- All’s Fair in Love and Treachery (ARC) – Celeste Connally
- Of Hoaxes and Homicide – Anastasia Hastings
- Station Eternity – Mur Lafferty (SFF/Mystery)
- Thieves’ Gambit (published) & Heist Royale (ARC) – Kayvion Lewis
- Murder and Mamon – Mia P. Manansala
- The Man Who Died Twice – Richard Osman
- Rough Pages – Lev A.C. Rosen
- The Book of Cold Cases – Simone St. James
- Dial A for Aunties – Jesse Q. Sutanto
