Pride Month Book Recommendations

Read queer all year.

Reading diverse voices is important to increase empathy and drive action in allyship. In honor of Pride Month, here is a list of my favorite queer books:

SFF (Adult & YA)

  • Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world has many queer characters, but I love Alec and Magnus especially – The Bane Chronicles, The Red Scrolls of Magic, The Lost Book of White
  • TJ Klune The House in the Cerulean Sea, In the Lives of Puppets, The Extraordinaries series (YA) – The Extraordinaries, Flash Fire, Heat Wave – and I especially love the Green Creek Series (Adult) – Wolfsong, Ravensong, Heartsong, (I still need to read Brothersong this summer)
