I’m ready for spooky season!
Check out my TBR for October.
With SFF as my main genre, I only manage to grab a mystery or two each month and sometimes I really want more! Last October, in honor of spooky season, I grabbed a big library haul of detective/crime novels, cozy mysteries, and thrillers. It was so fun to focus on this genre and finish several books that I’d had on my to-be-read list for a long time. I decided to enjoy a spooky season indulgence again this year, catching up on some ebooks on my kindle and requesting several physical books from the library.
Here’s what I’m tackling this month:
- The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Barnes
- Among the Wicked – Linda Castillo
- Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Lord – (NetGalley ARC) – Celeste Connnally
- The Taking of Jake Livingston – Ryan Douglass
- The French Spy – Mark Ellis
- Luck Be a Lady – Gemma Halliday & T. Sue VerSteeg
- Nine Liars – Maureen Johnson
- Blood Betrayal – (NetGalley ARC) – Ausma Zehanat Khan
- The Language of Secrets – Ausma Zehanat Khan
- Blackmail and Bibingka – Mia P. Manansala
- Home Before Dark – Riley Sager
- Gallant – Victoria Schwab
