Mystery novels I enjoyed this year…
Including a few new-to-me authors.
I worked through a huge library haul in October for spooky season and then made sure I grabbed a couple books from this genre every time I went back to avoid getting lost in fantasy books. I also got a few of these through NetGalley. I truly love a good mystery investigation!
Detective/Crime:
- Bruce Borgos – The Bitter Past
- A.J. Cross – Dark Truths, Devil in the Detail
- Linda Castillo – Her Last Breath, The Dead Will Tell, After the Storm
- Ausma Zehanat Khan – Blackwater Falls, The Unquiet Dead
- Lev A.C. Rosen – Lavender House, The Bell in the Fog
- Susie Steiner – Missing, Presumed; Persons Unknown; Remain Silent
- Simone St. James – The Broken Girls
Cozy Mystery:
- Bree Baker – Live and Let Chai
- Mia P. Manansala – Homicide and Halo-Halo
- Carlene O’Connor – Murder in an Irish Village
Historical Mystery
- Anastasia Hastings – Of Manners and Murder
- Stuart Turton – The Devil and the Dark Water
Paranormal Mystery
- Amber Logan – The Secret Garden of Yanagi Inn
- Dawn Merriman – The Spirit Girls
YA Thriller
- Chelsea Sedoti – Tell Me What Really Happened
