Setting goals…

2023 edition.

Happy New Year!

Fingers crossed most of these goals get accomplished this year…

Bonds of Magic series:

• Submit final chapters of Land of Monsters (sequel to Seeds of Power) to writing group and finish edits.
• Finalize query letter and synopsis for Seeds of Power by end of March.
• Send first query letter for SoP before May 1^st, 2023

Dreamcatcher series:

• Edit book one based on beta reader feedback before submitting query letter for SoP in case an agent wishes to see more/different work.
• Write a draft query letter for Dreamcatcher and synopsis.
• Work on edits for books 2-4 after first query of SoP sent (to keep moving forward and distract myself!)

Red Hour:

• Return to this 80% drafted standalone novel when need a break from SoP or Dreamcatcher.

Other:

• Increase book reviewer presence using Bookish First, NetGalley and other ARC or book tour opportunities.
• Continue to grow fun and successful bookstagram account.
• Attempt to grow Facebook page following/engagement.
• Continue to Beta and/or ARC read to support more writers creatively and with publicity.
• Edit the short story I wrote last year. Decide to publish here on my website so people can get a sample of my style, save it for a freebie when people join my newsletter (to be launched later), or submit it to contests.
