Editing can be exciting…

When you’re brave enough to make big changes.

I did it. I tore into Dreamcatcher book #1 again and I am so excited! I love Lena and Matthew and enjoy spending time in this world. I wrote up a rough revised outline of the beginning and then dove right in. I pulled out my favorite bits from my last draft and am writing new transitions. I am cutting out subplots that are distracting, unnecessary, and slowing things down. I am shifting the tone/attitude of a few characters in the beginning to better introduce who they really are and maintain consistency throughout the series. I think this draft is going to be the strongest yet.
