So long 2021…

And thanks for all the fish books.

This year has been amazing. I stepped out into the digital world as a writer, made amazing connections, and read a ton of awesome books. Thanks authors, publishers, and PR folks for reaching out to me. I have truly enjoyed these opportunities to read and promote books that might have slipped under my radar otherwise.

And by the way, SEEDS OF POWER is done. Done, I say! Last week I sent it to a handful of beta readers since I did major edits this fall, but I feel really good about this draft. If they catch something major, I won’t resent another round of editing. It will make me feel justified in waiting to query. If they feel it’s in good shape, that will boost the bravery I need to send those queries.

I am happy and proud of my 2021 and excited for 2022! Happy almost new year!
